Unpacking Treatment -- Answers to Common Questions
The unknown can feel daunting. Uncertainty about what treatment will really be like can get in the way of determining whether it’s the right choice for you. Here are answers to the most common questions we get about our treatment programs.
-
I'm already in therapy. How do I know if I need additional support?
If you’ve been working with an outpatient provider and find yourself “circling” the same emotions and behaviors and feeling stuck without any movement forward, it may be time to seek a higher level of care and enter a treatment program. Rest assured - whatever you need - we have the right program option for you.
-
How does the admissions process work?
Our admissions process begins with a phone call about your symptoms and medical history. From there, a member of our compassionate care team will provide you with a recommendation for treatment. From your very first call, we want you to know that you are not alone in your struggle.
-
Is treatment covered by my insurance?
Our programs are covered in-network by most major commercial insurance providers. With your approval, we contact your insurance company and provide you with all the specifics you need to move forward. That way, you can focus on healing — not financial stress.
-
Can I do treatment from home?
Yes, we offer Eating Recovery and Pathlight At Home, a virtual intensive outpatient program that you can do from the comfort and convenience of home. This program is ideal for those who are looking for more flexibility and the chance to participate in local summer activities.
