Biography

Dr. Yon Park is a Psychiatrist at our Irvine, California location. She attended the University of MD-College Park and received a Bachelor’s in Microbiology and a Minor Certificate in Chinese Language.  She then attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her psychiatric training at the University of MD/Sheppard Pratt Residency program. 

 

She started her career working at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt, and then gained specialized experience in reproductive psychiatry while serving female Veterans at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Affairs hospital, where she also served as Deputy Chief for the Women’s Mental Health Clinic.    

 

Dr. Park’s wide range of experience allows her to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to her patients.  Her career experience spans from working with the severely mentally ill during COVID with New Directions FSP, a program dedicated to supporting individuals at risk of homelessness, as well as various residential treatment centers for eating disorders, offering care to adolescents and adults.
