Biography

Recording artist, educator and mental health advocate Tony Wilson has 11 years of experience working with at risk youth in New Orleans through non profits and teaching. In 2012 Tony began writing and performing Spoken Word poetry which then evolved into him recording music and performing internationally in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Ecuador and even selling out the world famous First Avenue in Minneapolis. His most recent project is a children's Hip Hop album, Gelly's Playground, that focuses on social and emotional development by teaching life skills such as conflict resolution, stress management and using I-statements through music.

He was recently featured in Offbeat magazine for his efforts advocating for mental health through his music.
