Russell Briggs, PMHNP

Russell Briggs is a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in our San Antonio, Texas facility. With a Master of Science in Nursing specializing in psychiatric mental health from MSOE University, Russell has a robust background in both nursing and mental health care. His journey in healthcare began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University.

Russell has accumulated extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Since January 2018, he has worked at Rogers Behavioral Health, where he provides compassionate care to both adult and adolescent patients dealing with trauma, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. His previous roles include inpatient care at St. Mary’s Hospital and providing support as a Nursing Assistant in several facilities, showcasing his commitment to improving the physical and mental well-being of his patients.

With a strong focus on patient education and rehabilitation, Russell strives to empower his patients in their journey to recovery, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
