Biography
Nancy Fouts, DNP, APRN-CNP, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner working at our Cincinnati, OH location. Originally from Illinois, Nancy's diverse career journey has taken her across various fields before transitioning to psychiatric care. She has lived in many different places as a military spouse and has worked as a medical librarian and an elementary school teacher. With a passion for helping others, Nancy found her calling in psychiatry, particularly in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults in managing their mental health.
Nancy holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Illinois State University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University. During her career, she has gained extensive experience in multiple settings, including inpatient care at the Sheppard Pratt Center for Eating Disorders, outpatient care at Carle Physician Group, and working with the consult liaison team at a Level 1 Trauma Center. She has a special interest in working with complex eating disorder patients and is dedicated to providing compassionate care for those with mental health and eating disorders.
Nancy is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International as an undergraduate nursing student. She has also completed specialized training in TMS Therapy through NeuroStar University. Outside of her professional work, Nancy enjoys bicycle riding, spending time with her Beagles, exploring real estate, and following thoroughbred horse racing. With her diverse background and commitment to improving mental health care, Nancy is dedicated to supporting patients on their journey toward better mental health.
