Biography

Liza is the Clinical Director of Eating Recovery Center’s Child and Adolescent units in Denver. She began working in the field of eating disorders in 2002 and joined Eating Recovery Center in 2011. Liza has received training in Exposure and Response Prevention through the Behavior Therapy Training Institute/International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF). Liza is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and holds the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist designation and is also an approved CEDS Supervisor. She is also a member of the IOCDF.

Liza has enjoyed working with children, adolescents and their families with a passion to promote a healthy trajectory toward a life increasingly marked by freedom. Liza believes that a child’s family is their greatest resource and desires to support caregivers in navigating the challenges of a child with a mental illness. In her spare time she enjoys doing agility training and competitions with her dogs, knitting and exploring outside.
