Biography

Kimberly A. Reinertsen, M.D. is a Primary Care Physician at our Bellevue, WA location, bringing a wealth of experience in family and urgent care to her role. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Reinertsen completed her undergraduate studies at Western Washington University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Anthropology. She then pursued her medical education at Ross University, followed by extensive training through the Cox Family Medicine Residency program in Missouri. Her background in diverse medical settings has cultivated her approach to holistic, patient-centered care, which is enriched by her commitment to community health.

Prior to joining our team, Dr. Reinertsen served in various healthcare environments, including The Everett Clinic in Washington and Providence Urgent Care in Spokane. She also held multiple positions within Mercy Health in Missouri, where she gained substantial experience treating patients in urgent care and outpatient imaging services. Her work spans a variety of electronic medical record systems, such as EPIC and Cerner, ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care in multiple healthcare settings. Dr. Reinertsen is board certified in Family Medicine and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), among others.

Dr. Reinertsen’s dedication to global health is evident through her mission work with the Institute for International Medicine in Ghana and Harvest International in Haiti. These experiences have deepened her understanding of international healthcare and strengthened her commitment to compassionate care. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring Seattle’s vibrant community and engaging in activities that support a balanced lifestyle.
