Biography

Julissa Minaya is a mental health advocate, Say It Brave member, and college student at Southwestern University. She is majoring in psychology and hopes to use her degree to bring accessible treatment to underrepresented individuals. Julissa shares her lived experience with eating disorder recovery at Julissa’s Recovery on Instagram, with an authentic voice, unique perspective and focus on BIPOC mental health. She is a gymnastics instructor and lives in Dallas, Texas.
