Biography

Jillian Sturm Moshay, MD, CEDS, is a board-certified family medicine physician and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist based in Bellevue, WA. Growing up in Sandpoint, Idaho, she was inspired to pursue a medical career in high school, driven by a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She attended Concordia University in Portland, earning a BA in Biology with minors in Psychology and Chemistry, and went on to graduate from the University of Washington School of Medicine with an MD and a Global Health Certificate as part of the Idaho WWAMI program. Dr. Moshay completed her residency in family medicine at Northwestern McGaw in Chicago in 2013 and soon returned to Seattle to practice outpatient primary care. Over time, her career focus shifted to treating patients with eating disorders, which she now does in both PHP and Residential programs for ERC Pathlight Bellevue, where she has been a key provider since 2019.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Moshay is actively involved in the Academy of Eating Disorders and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She regularly leads educational sessions and didactics for family medicine and pediatric residents, fostering a deeper understanding of eating disorders in the medical community. Dr. Moshay became a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist in 2023, underscoring her expertise in this field.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Moshay enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog. She’s an enthusiastic sports fan who loves both watching and playing, and she finds joy in traveling and exploring new places.
