Biography

Jane Teixeira is the Clinical Director for Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center in Sacramento, CA. Jane has been a licensed marriage family therapist in California since 2012 and has over ten years of experience in mental health. She has significant experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, Jane taught master’s level courses for marriage family therapists at the University of San Francisco. In addition, she has worked in direct service and leadership positions in various settings, including community mental health programs, school-based programs, and private practice. She has also written a workbook on managing worry and anxiety.

Jane earned her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the COAMFTE accredited program at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University and her B.S. in Psychology from UC Davis.
