Biography

Eunjin Jang, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist practicing at Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center in Seattle, WA. With a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care, Dr. Jang brings extensive experience in outpatient, inpatient, and consult-liaison psychiatry, enabling her to offer a comprehensive approach to treatment. Originally from a diverse background, she earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center and completed her adult psychiatry residency at the University of Chicago Medicine, where she was chief resident for both the adult psychiatry program and the NorthShore inpatient service. Dr. Jang is particularly interested in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder and prioritizes psychoeducation to empower patients in their treatment plans.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Jang is actively involved in mentorship, curriculum development, and recruitment. She has received numerous honors, including the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award, in recognition of her dedication to teaching and professionalism. Her research contributions are published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented at national conferences, including the American Burn Association Annual Meeting.

Outside of work, Dr. Jang enjoys quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping, and experimenting with new recipes. Her varied interests and dedication to her field make her a well-rounded and compassionate clinician.
