Biography

Dan Blalock is a health services researcher in the Health Services Research & Development Center of Innovation at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Assistant Consulting Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine, and licensed clinical psychologist in the state of North Carolina. Dr. Blalock's research interests encompass the intersection of mental health, physical health, and behavioral self-management, with particular emphasis on substance use disorders and medication adherence. Dr. Blalock also investigates the measurement properties and utility of patient-reported outcomes. He consults with ERC as a methodologist and biostatistician, as well as providing content expertise in mood and anxiety disorders.
