Bjorn E. Payne, M.D. is a Psychiatrist at Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center in Seattle, WA. A native of the Seattle area, Dr. Payne combines his local roots with his expertise to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients facing a range of mental health challenges. His practice emphasizes treating conditions such as anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and trauma-related disorders. Dr. Payne earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance through Harvard Medical School. During his training, he conducted significant research in addiction treatment, particularly in expanding access to buprenorphine in primary care. His work in this field led to published research and presentations at national forums.
