Biography

Alex has been working in the behavioral health field for over 10 years in the Washington area. Alex received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Seattle University and her Masters in Counseling from Northwest University. She has worked in multiple care settings, including outpatient therapy with children and families, adult crisis stabilization and detox, and business development for one of Washington’s largest free-standing adult psychiatric hospital. More recently, Alex worked within a Seattle-based mental health organization serving low-income children and families as their Clinical Director. In this role she helped develop and open multiple programs, including their intensive day treatment elementary and middle school for children with behavioral needs, an outpatient clinic and the Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) programs. Alex is looking forward to joining the Eating Recovery Center team and witnessing all the incredible work being done for the community. Away from work Alex enjoys spending quality time with her husband and toddler, watching bad reality TV and trying new arts & crafts projects!
