Our annual Out Loud Pride Summit is a day of education and elevating and advocating for the voices of the LGBTQ+ community with continuing education opportunities for professionals coupled with lived experiences for all. You will not want to miss our lineup of renowned clinicians, LGBTQ+ speakers, influencers, and advocates.

We are deeply grateful for the work of our providers and the generosity of our advocates sharing their stories to help end stigma and give insight into the realities of mental health. We are also grateful to you for being part of such an incredible and growing community.

11:00 AM- 12:30 PM     Stepping into the Light: Navigating Coming Out in Individual Therapy with Lindsey Reed *1.5 CE Available

 This continuing education session focuses on equipping mental health professionals with the tools and insights necessary to support LGBTQ+ individuals as they navigate the journey of coming out. From understanding the unique stressors and limitations faced by individuals during this process to exploring effective therapeutic approaches, this talk provides practical strategies for clinicians to foster a safe and affirming environment for their clients. 

1:00 PM- 3:00 PM         Finding Solidarity: The Power of Group and Connection in LGBTQ+ Healing Spaces with Kaila Peak- Rishel and Kris Ramos *2 CE Available  

This continuing education session delves into the significance of group therapy and support groups tailored for LGBTQ+ individuals. Participants will explore the essential role these spaces play in fostering community, validation, and growth for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Through an examination of group dynamics and effective therapeutic tools, clinicians will gain insights into creating and maintaining supportive environments where individuals can explore their identities, share experiences, and find solidarity.

Join us for a profound and insightful conversation, "A Seat at the Table: Community, Faith, & Recovery," proudly hosted in collaboration with Rock Recovery. This unique gathering brings together a distinguished panel of individuals representing diverse faith and identity backgrounds, who will openly share their personal experiences and reflections on the intricate interplay between community, faith, and recovery.

Available Continuing Education Credit

In support of improving patient care, Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 3.5 clinical continuing education credits.

Completion of this RD/DTR profession-specific or IPCE awards CPEUs (3.5 IPCE credit + 3.5 CPEU). If the activity is dietetics-related but not targeted to RDs or DTRs, CPEUs may be claimed which commensurate with participation in contact hours (One 60-minute hour = 1 CPEU). RDs and DTRs are to select activity type 102 in their Activity Log. Sphere and Competency selection is at the learner’s discretion.

Eating Recovery Center, LLC is approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6815 Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Eating Recovery Center is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
