In IOP, patients are in treatment for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week for up to 11 hours per week. Programming includes nutritional counseling, individual therapy, family therapy, supported meals and more.
Experienced professionals employ a number of therapeutic interventions in IOP, including:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Family-Centered Treatment
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT)
The program also incorporates core recovery principles, values, mindfulness, and connectedness.
The IOP can serve as a step-down level of care, helping to foster a positive transition into activities of daily living for children, adolescents, and adults upon discharging from our Residential or Partial Hospitalization programs. IOP can also be leveraged as a direct admit level of care for patients requiring a higher level of care from an outpatient setting — allowing them to remain engaged with their lives.

IOP can also be leveraged as a direct-admit level of care for patients requiring a higher level of care in an outpatient setting that allows them to remain engaged with their lives
