Biography
Emma (she/her) believes strongly in the transformative power of community. She recognizes that healing and recovery can thrive with the support of those around us—be it family, friends, partners, neighbors, colleagues, support groups, or treatment teams. For her, this network of support is vital to fostering resilience and growth throughout the recovery journey.
Emma earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. Before pursuing her master’s degree, she gained valuable experience as a behavioral health counselor at an eating disorder center, which ignited her passion for working with eating disorders and co-occurring diagnoses. Emma joined Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center in October 2020 as a case manager, where she discovered her passion for case management and her commitment to facilitating patients' access to resources for a successful transition home. In May 2022, she transitioned to the role of Alumni & Community Outreach Liaison, utilizing her case management expertise to provide ongoing support and recovery resources for patients and their loved ones after discharge.
Emma is currently based in Denver, CO and is originally from New Hampshire. In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with her partner and their cat, Kitten, watching any and all TV shows/movies, and travelling to see family and friends.
